Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
We collect: your name, email address, and phone number (for order fulfillment); documents you upload for translation (processed and deleted after 30 days); payment information (processed by Stripe — we never store card numbers); device IP address and timestamp (for certification audit log).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to: fulfill your translation order; send you order confirmation and delivery emails; maintain a certification audit trail as required by law; respond to government inquiries about translations we have produced.
3. How We Protect Your Data
All documents are stored encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Documents are processed by AI running on our own secure local infrastructure — your documents are never sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any third-party AI service. Only the assigned translator accesses your document, via our secure internal dashboard. All translators sign a strict NDA before access.
4. Data Retention
Source documents: deleted 30 days after delivery. Certified translation PDFs: retained 3 years. Order records (name, email, order details): retained 3 years. Payment records: retained as required by Stripe and applicable tax law.
5. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@traduzusa.com. We will delete all data we are not legally required to retain within 30 days of your request. California residents and residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have additional rights including the right to know, the right to deletion, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. 6. No Data Sales
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
7. AI and Your Documents
Your documents are never used to train AI models. AI processing occurs locally on our own hardware. No document content leaves our infrastructure during AI processing.
8. Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with Florida Statute § 501.171.
